The acquisition of property, be it either domestic or residential, is likely to be the most expensive single purchase ever made in one’s lifetime. Therefore, it is critical to establish that one is investing in a sound and stable property in pathological terms. Of course we have no influence over the buoyancy or otherwise of the market itself!

John Goddard Associates are relied upon by many of our existing commercial Clients to provide high quality pre-acquisition surveys prior to committing to financial investment.

Of course, we also undertake surveys in the residential market, undertaking HSVs’ and full building surveys on the whole range of domestic properties, from flats to the prestigious end of the market. Our recent surveys have included inspiring period and Listed properties. We survey timber frame structures and frequently given our Norfolk base, many barn conversions.

JGA relish the challenge of surveying non-traditional construction types and have experience for example in residential steel frame buildings.
